通过代币激励促使热点矿工购买Hotspot设备(Helium网络中的热点矿机)，并通过设置部署Hotspot为附近的物联网设备提供无线网络接入。其热点矿机采用LongFi无线协议(一个Sub-GHz频段的Apache许可的开源协议)，提供无线网络覆盖，从而使得物联网设备可以使用。
Helium无线网络在低功耗的情况下传输数据。PoC机制是指当Hotspot被不同的个人所拥有后，它们(Hotspot)之间如何协同，为网络提供无线连接覆盖的。PoC就像网络健康的自动检测机制，每一个Hotspot都有一个完整的区块链节点。Hotspot会一直向区块链询问以验证网络是否依然有效且提供有效覆盖的Hotspot。
Through token incentives, hotspot miners are motivated to purchase Hotspot devices (hotspot miners in the Helium network), and Hotspot is deployed to provide wireless network access for nearby IoT devices through settings. Its hotspot miner uses the LongFi wireless protocol (an Apache-licensed open source protocol in the Sub-GHz band) to provide wireless network coverage, making it accessible to IoT devices.
The Helium wireless network transmits data with low power consumption. The PoC mechanism refers to how when Hotspots are owned by different individuals, how they (Hotspots) cooperate to provide wireless connection coverage for the network. PoC is like an automatic detection mechanism for network health, each Hotspot has a full blockchain node. Hotspot will always query the blockchain to verify that the network is still valid and provides hotspot with valid coverage.
